Stephen Tate

Steve has been in the Wealth Management business since 2014. He was mentored by his Dad, Wynn Tate, who spent 20+ years in the industry as a Financial Advisor. Prior to that, he was in the Medical Device world with Boston Scientific and Abbott, formerly known as St. Jude Medical, working in the Cardiovascular division. Steve has a Bachelor in Economics and graduated from the University of Utah where he also played football. While as a student-athlete, Steve was a 3-year starter and an All-Conference Safety and a team Captain. He played from 2004-2007. He was a member of the Fiesta Bowl championship team.

Steve is married to Savanna Tate and they have 6 children, Bo, Mia, Wes, Reese, Heath and Hayes. He is a co-founder of the Hayestough foundation; a 501(c)3 that was founded in honor of his son, Hayes, who passed away from pediatric brain cancer. Since 2016, Steve and his wife are dedicated to provide emotional and financial assistance to families who have or are currently battling pediatric cancer.

Steve continues to volunteer in the community with coaching roles in little league football and baseball for Olympus Little League for 12+ years and enjoys spending time with his kids. He enjoys traveling to Stanford football games where his son plays football for Stanford as an Inside Linebacker.
